Art-Led Ecommerce
An art-driven home and lifestyle store built around color

Project overview
Laura Park Designs brings bold brushstrokes and original prints into a broad lifestyle catalog, using a composed digital system to let shoppers explore expressive patterns without visual overload.
The brand grew from signature pillows into bedding, fabric, wallpaper, accessories, tabletop décor, and print-driven apparel. Products connected by the same artwork need to work naturally across pattern, room, and product type.
Hundreds of colorful, high-resolution images can make a catalog feel busy and slow. The experience needed to preserve the artwork while reducing click depth and making related designs discoverable.
The solution
We developed a bespoke CSS Grid gallery and used Shopify metaobjects to connect recurring patterns. Clear collection routes, WebP imagery, and descriptive alt text keep the visual experience fast, accessible, and crawlable.
Shared pattern data connects pillows, wallpaper, bedding, and accessories into coordinated stories.
Responsive grids and consistent image behavior keep adjacent prints expressive without allowing them to compete.
Direct collection pathways reduce navigation steps for shoppers and search crawlers.
